Cloud RAW image processing
Neural network Image Processing by image.canon

image.canon will terminate the Cloud RAW image processing service in September 2024.
Initiate from your camera to enhance image quality through cloud
Cloud RAW image processing is performed in the same operation as in-camera RAW image processing. Send RAW images from the camera to image.canon and perform higher quality RAW image processing using deep learning technology in the cloud. You can easily utilize images by performing RAW image processing on the cloud even when you are away from home, without going through a computer or smartphone.
Reduce noise without losing detail.

Typical Images that gain most benefit from Cloud RAW image processing
Cloud RAW image processing is most effective for images such as night scenes and astronomical images taken with a high ISO, images taken with a moving subject in a dark place, images with fine stripes and images of buildings with tile/brick patterns.
Access the processed images quickly via image.canon
Pre-processed RAW images and processed images will be stored on image.canon for 30 days in original qualities.
Automatically transfer and download to your PC
You can automatically transfer the pre-processed RAW images and processed images to your PC and connected services such as Google photos via image.canon.
Supported cameras
EOS R3 (Firmware Ver.1.3.0 or higher)
EOS R6 Mark II
EOS R7 (Firmware Ver.1.2.0 or higher)
EOS R8
EOS R10 (Firmware Ver.1.2.0 or higher)

You can use Cloud RAW image processing with the above cameras equipped with the function.
How to start using the service
Registration for image.canon is required.
Connect camera with Cloud RAW image processing function to image.canon. You can see how to connect the camera from the button below. Click here for how to connect the EOS R3.
Subscription to Cloud RAW image processing service (paid service) is required. You can join the service from Canon Imaging App Service Plans website.

How to use
Cloud RAW image processing menu
*The operation requires your camera to be connected to Wi-Fi.
Select [Cloud RAW image processing] from camera menu. You can not select this menu if you haven't connected your camera to image.canon.
screen image
When you select [Check proc. Capacity (refresh)], your camera will communicate with image.canon and the number of pictures that can be processed will be updated.
screen image
When you are not subscribed to the Cloud RAW image processing paid plan, your processing capacity will be 0. An e-mail inviting you to subscribe to a paid plan will be sent to your e-mail address registered to image.canon.
Select images
Select [Add images to process].
screen image
Select images to process and set the processing parameters. Operation is the same as in-camera RAW processing.
Send images
Select [Send].

Check the message and select [Send].
screen image
When image.canon receives an image and starts processing, an email notification will be sent to the email address registered to image.canon. It may take some time for you to receive the email notification.
If you are using EOS R7 / EOS R10 and the firmware does not support Cloud RAW image processing, the number of images that can be developed will be displayed as "0" and cannot be sent even if you are subscribed to a paid plan. Please update the firmware to the corresponding firmware. After updating the firmware, you will need to retry [Add images to process]. If you send images added before the firmware update, an error will occur during the processing.
When image.canon receives images and starts the processing, the number of available images decreases corresponding to the number of images that have been sent. When the processing is not completed due to an error, the number of images that can be processed will be restored corresponding to the number of images that failed to be processed.
Processed images
When processing is complete, you will be notified to your email address registered to image.canon, and you can access your pre-processed RAW images and processed JPEG/HEIF images by launching the image.canon app or signing in to image.canon website.
screen image
If you are using the image.canon app, select "RAW" in the "Image type" menu to display the pre-processed RAW images. Select [ JPEG ] in the menu to display the processed JPEG/HEIF image. When there are too many images displayed, you can filter the images by shooting date or upload date to make it easier to find the image you want.
