Images uploaded from your Canon camera can be automatically sorted on image.canon and transferred to 3rd-party services or a PC.
Customize Sorting Rules for Your Uploaded Images
Sorting by Image Quality
Blur and out-of-focus judgement: Automatically sort images that are not in focus anywhere in the image due to shaking of the hand or other factors.Exposure judgement: Automatically sort images based on their exposure levels, identifying well-exposed and poorly exposed images.Blur and out-of-focus judgement and Exposure judgement can be set independently.
Sorting by Subject Category
Automatically sort images according to 17 typical categories such as dogs, cats, trains and night views.You can specify multiple categories for sorting.
Sorting by Image Information
Sort images by shooting date, shooting camera, image type (JPEG, HEIF, RAW), and ratings set by the camera.
Combine Sorting Conditions
Freely select various sorting conditions, including:
- Blur and out-of-focus judgement for whole image
- Exposure judgement
- Subject category
- Shooting camera
- Image type（JPEG、HEIF、RAW）
- Camera ratings
- Shooting date

Automatically transfer and download images that match your sorting rules.
Automatic Transfer to External Services
Automatically transfer images that match your sorting rules to services such as Google Photos, Google Drive, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Frame.io and Flickr.Set it up once, and it will save storage space on cloud services and make it easier to find images.

Automatic Download to a PC
Images that match the sorting rules, and those that don't, will be stored in two separate folders. Once the Downloader for image.canon is installed and set up, it will automatically download new images uploaded from the camera.

How to apply sorting rules
Upload images from the camera to image.canon. Uploaded images will be automatically sorted according to your predefined rules. Images matching the rules will be transferred to external services and downloaded to a PC in sorted folders.
Operating method
Creating Sorting Rules
Select [+New] on [Still image sorting rules] to open the [Creating a sorting rule] screen.

Choose and create the rules by which you would like to sort.

Applying Rules to External Services
Select [Application to transfer destination service] to open the service connection menu.

Select the desired service to apply the sorting rules.

Browsing Sorted Images
Select your sorting rules in [Still image sorting rules] from the main menu.

You can now view the images matching your sorting rules.

Changing, Deleting a Sorting Rule
Click (i) next to the rule you want to change on [Still image sorting rules].

You can change or delete a sorting rule.

Notice
Changes to sorting rules will not affect previously sorted images. New sorting rules will apply to images uploaded after the changes are made.
